There is a nice trail system just around the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville campus. It's mosty single track with lots of switch backs. You can string together about 10 miles of trail between the various sections of trail which are all labled.
Highland, IL - All single track, zig-zagging 4.5 mile lollipop. Great for repeats
